I stumbled across this article on Psychology Today by Douglas T. Kenrick Ph.D. and found it to be a compelling read. Embracing rejection is potentially one of the hardest things to do but can ultimately lead to great personal success. Being able to learn from rejection can allow for much needed growth, whether it be constructive criticism on how to improve oneself or one's work, or the realization that moving on from a particular situation or relationship may bring more happiness. This article is a reminder that what we often seek most to avoid can be the source of invaluable personal development.
