COMMON QUESTIONS

What should I expect when I contact you?

 

If you call and I am unable to answer the phone, I will call you back within 24 hours. If you send an email or message through my site's contact page, I will respond to you within 24 hours and arrange a time to get on a call. Over the phone I will ask you a few questions to better understand the services you are seeking.

 

How long are sessions? And how frequently will we meet?

 

Sessions are 45 minutes in length, usually on a weekly basis. The option of meeting bi-weekly or multiple times a week can be arranged based on what your specific needs are. 

 

What is your cancellation policy?

 

If you know that you need to cancel a session, please give at least 48 hours notice. Appointments canceled within 48 hours will be charged. Should you need to cancel an appointment, you can reschedule for a different time that same week if there is availability.


What type of payments do you accept? 

 

Cash, check, Venmo or Chase QuickPay.

 

Do you accept insurance?

 

I am not in-network with any type of insurance, however, if you have out of network coverage through your plan, I can provide you with receipts to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement.  

Is what we speak about confidential?

 

Everything that is said in session remains confidential with a few exceptions, such as an expressed intent to harm others, or a reported case of child or elder abuse, which will require that the appropriate authorities be contacted. In the instance that a client intends to harm himself or herself, every effort will be made to ensure the client's safety, but if an individual does not cooperate, additional measures may be taken.
